Bringing Kabuki to the North East
This video shows an excerpt of my last Kabuki Theatre based show - Smells Like Butter, 2019. Performed at the Platform Theatre at UAL: Central Saint Martins. This work formed part of my dissertation for my MA in Performance Design & Practise : Appropriate Appropriation?
Other Art and Dance Work
Across my career, I have worked in numerous creative roles, including as an Interior Designer and Colour Curator for some of the UK's largest interior design brands. I have also worked in education as a dance teacher in secondary education, and work with care-experienced children in the North East. I am currently the Founder and Company Director of Dance Artists North East CIC, a small start-up providing dance artists in NE England with work opportunities and professional development sessions.
